2002: I only went on Sunday due to the pesterings of some of my friends... even going only one day, I succeeded in spending about 120$ I guess the weirdest thing that happened to me there was this artist that was wearing one of those felt top hats with a flame design on it. Pinned to the hat he had something along the lines of "Support the starving artist" ... So of course I had to steal it. I took it and ran, not getting very far before he caught up with me and picked me up. He then tried to kiss me, at which point I bit his nose and beat him with a poster. Then we went back to his little area, looked through his art, bought some prints from him... and he was like "By the way... how old are you?" "...15" "goddammit..." haha.

I also met future boyfriend there. He was dressed as Li Syaoran from Card Captor Sakura, which was one of the first animes I'd ever seen, so of course I had to go bug him. So I walked up to him, shoved my face inside of his oversized sleeve and bit his arm. I then took his wooden sword and chased him around the hotel, something I'd never get away with now with the tighter security.

2003: My first time attending for the whole weekend. My friend's mom made reservations, which the hotel screwed up so we got upgraded to a huge corner suite. Thanks to her, I was well fed and had a bed for the weekend. This was my first and only time cosplaying, I made a Coat inspired by Kamui from X (Black demon wings sewed into the back, lotsa belt buckles and detatchable sleeves). It was pretty cool until it started falling apart. I also got drafted by my friends to make collars for them as they were a Tokyo Mew Mew group and I had leftover buckles.

This was the year I officially discovered the piano there. I'd really gotten serious about playing in the last year, though I'd been taking lessons for a long time. There was a Fruits Basket marathon playing, and the piano was right next to the video rooms, So I played music from there as the video watchers were coming out which earned me squeals and a few dollars. I also got some attention playing Sadame from X, which matched my costume. I think being able to play piano for people was the highlight of my weekend.

The Li cosplayer from the year prior was there, I'd only talked to him a few times as I'd gotten his e-mail, but I only met him Sunday of that year. He was dressed as Knuckles,so I didn't really recognize him.

I managed to top my buying of the year before, spending around 200$ eep!

I've never been to acen, and i just found out about like 2 months ago. so now i have to wait a whole year to actually experience this great event. I can only imagine what it's like. i'm already talking to my parents to let me go. my sister says she wants to go too. so my anticipation is building up.

Alright this was my first con ever. I was so happy when I went my sis took me so anyways I got there. We began the long walk to the dealers room. It was really long my feet hurt ^_^; So anyways me and my sis walked around each of the panels me so excited I had alot of fun I saw tons of stuff I hadn't seen tons of merchandise I had never ever seen. To expensive though. Umm...I went just for one day but anyways I bought some stuff and really thats it.

For 2 days I walked around with a puchiko plushie on my head!!!! I got petted a few times, and even played Para Para with her strapped to me noggin! The girl I am dating now, stepped on my bag at the exhibit hall, and we didn't know eachother yet, and we both wanted to talk to eachother the entire wait cuz we though the other one was cute, but I was to cowardly to talk to her, and her friend Missy was getting angry at her for not talking to her, so we didn't get to talk at all, and after the con we started talking alot....and now we are dating!!!! we started dating after the con though...its so werid!
