1 - The Adventure Begins!...
... with a bang, most literally. Thursday afternoon we ran into this wreck which slowed traffic to a near screeching halt. I still wander if this was some sort of warning left by Ohio, “No Out of State Visitors Welcome!!” Well, welcomed or not the ACen Guys are coming - coming to spread our 80 proof urine into all your states great potted plants that is.

Miles from the state line, we hit some nasty traffic and after wading through brake lights, we came upon this beauty of a beast.
Ah, the first picture of our adventure to Ohio. And it's of a crashed truck. I think that's a good omen.....
It wouldn't be an adventure without some sort of massive destruction at the get go.
The last three times we've gone to Ohio for a convention we have seen a horrible truck accident, I think Indiana and Ohio just hate trucks.

The gapers delay was terrible, but it was slow moving enough for us to get some pictures, and since it was pointless- the ACenGuys were on it like white on rice!
Another shot of the damaged truck. You should have seen it when it was turned over...
Or rather it would... but it would be less destructive.
A better view of the truck, it looks like it got hit by a wrecking ball.

This Ohio state line, entry, archway, structure was actually quite impressive. So impressive I wish we got a better picture of it. Then maybe you could have seen the giant animatronic Wright Brothers firing lasers from their prototype plane. Lasers which I’ve heard can reach all the way to North Carolina. It was quite a sight.

Entering Ohio was the single most painful part of the trip, also talking about a certain former "The View" host.

We arrived in Ohio pretty late, but once we did we just decided to unpack and take it easy. Here is ACen Gal Kiwi and to answer your first question - “Good luck, we’ve already tried!”.

Once we arrived in Ohio, we settled down and began to get comfy. The room wasn't bad, nor was the Kiwi.

This is Peter. He is not an ACen Guy, but sometimes stays with us anyway. You’ll be seeing a lot of him this convention - he makes for the most interesting pictures.

I love this shot so much. It's like Peter has two left hands and a wonderful manicure
And here's our friend peter, who is hiding behind the bed with the arm of that hooker we 'accidentally' hit on the way to Ohio!

6 - SnuggleFest '08!
And BAM! Just like that its Friday - let SnuggleFest ‘08 begin! Erm... I mean Ohayocon ‘08. These are two more of our friends spoonin’ like we wouldn’t photograph it! On the left is Dina ( Jimjitsu’s girlfriend) and on the left Jaclyn.

Now isn't that just fucking cute?
Ah, now this is a nice picture. Two friends, spooning. You'd think that we had good taste in the pictures we show, until...

I think Hawthorne Heights left out that not only is Ohio for lovers but girl-on-girl to be specific.

This is ACen Guy Znatch, he enjoys the ever increasing trend of people exposing themselves on camera. I’ve noticed these “exposures” usually peak in the morning hours, so you may want to steer clear of those pictures... or jump to them immediately!

The city of Columbus, OH! The great host to the Ohayocon convention. I wish we got a picture after the convention left town. Oh well, just imagine the same thing except with a couple demolished buildings, roads now composed of beer bottles, and nearly half the population replaced with dead hookers.

This was our view in the morning, breathtaking in it's own way, and at the same time, almost pointless, because we didn't wander Columbus at all. Not necessarily a bad thing, because OhayoCon was waiting for us with plenty of tantalizing things to do; like wander, eat, and wander!
I think its obvious which building isn't favored by the sun.
I remember waking up,looking out at the city, and watching people violate traffic laws. Almost as if it was sport.

She's just so tiny. And that blanket is huge.
awwww, isn't that cute. Dina wrapped in a blanket holding the one thing that keeps us alive during a con, caffeine.
Maybe... or maybe something has consumed Dina. Some sort of blue blob like creature.
A wild Dina appears! Or maybe it's a Ditto in the process of becoming a Dina mimic....
