Youmacon 2005, this was the conventions first year as was it the first Acen Guy’s adventure without me. That’s right without me, The mighty Acen Guy Brown. And I know what your thinking “if you weren’t there then why are you writing an intro for it? Shouldn’t it be done by someone who actually attended the con?”. Well my answer is this - Suck a Frog Honey Dog!... I’m sorry it came to that folks, but I hate people who ask stupid questions. But alas it is true I was not in attendance, as a matter of fact only one Acen Guy was. The sexy, handsome, almost always shirtless Acen Guy Masamune.
The only reason Masamune attended the con was not to further the sites archives of pictures, but because he was invited as a guest. That’s right! That’s how popular we Acen Guys are, we got invited to a convention just because were so damn cool!.... oh how I long for those words to be true someday... (seriously tell your friends about us, we need the hits). Actually Masamune was invited because he is part of a musical group called The Spoony Bards. The Spoony Bards have recently been invited to many conventions do to their popularity and Youmacon was just one of them. Since he was going to this convention he decided it would be a great idea to take pictures for our new Exploration Force page. He ran the idea by me, I cursed at him for an hour for being able to go to a convention for free and as a guest because his other group of con friends are so much better then us, AREN’T YOU GODDAMN MUSIC PLAYING BASTARD’S!... then I gave him my blessing and he was on his way.
So these are all the pictures he took at the convention. Most of them are blurry and not very well shot, but hey there is a reason we don’t give him the camera when at other conventions HAHA (just kidding, they're not that bad). Also don’t be scared when you notice that the pictures don’t have our traditional time stamps on them. Masamune’s camera didn’t record the time and date each picture was taken (well they all said January 1, 2003). So instead of trying to half-ass it and make some times up we just left them off all together... what do you know, another ACen Guys first!
