"What!! I Have to Pay the Con Rate!"
It’s become common place over the years for Anime Central attendees to reserve their rooms at the Hyatt Regency O’ Hare before the convention makes any sort of formal announcement. Up until now it really hasn’t presented much of a problem. Everyone generally gets their shit sorted out in the end with minor complaining. This year has proven to be a different case. The room block for ACen ‘08 officially open on Monday evening - and to the shock and horror of many people, including ourselves, all 300+ standard double bed rooms we’re sold out. [read more...]
