These are all 416 pictures taken by the ACen Guys at ACen 2004. Now there are many repeats and crappy pictures this year so be wary before you start your journey. As before every picture has a commentary from ACen Guy Brown (Matt) and occasional comments by ACen Guy EricB (Eric), ACen Gal Jill (Jill), ACen Guy Jimjitsu (Jim), ACen Guy Ronin (Joe), ACen Guy Masamune (Chris), ACen Guy Neal (Neal), and ACen Guy Zeltron (Bob). This is one in a series of comparision shots I took to show how messy our room got. To see how clean it was before click here.

And I have to feel only slightly guilty.. note my crap is all in a small, designated corner, which alleviated me from most of the blame.

I'll have you all know that any trash I produced I immediately put in the designated trash bin or bag, and that all of my personal effects (save for the DDR pad and PS2) were underneath that tiny little glass table by the balcony. Check out my meticulousness. : o

Look at that mess! Now please tell me why would you bring video games (that you can play at any time) to a convention that happens once a year? Doesn't that just kinda distract you?

I must say, for all the trouble they went through to bring this thing, I didn't see them play it once. Mind you, I was only in the room for small periods of time, but still.. They're like me, I have to admit though.. we bring games on vacations with family.. I love being a nerd.

Of course, you never know. Plus, we actually did play DDR for about an hour or so. Originally Chris and I were going to use it to practice for the tournament, but we never entered it.

Looking down from this perch on Saturday morning was a blast. I felt like a kid in a candy store, looking at all the cosplayers was amazing.. All your Nerds R belong to ACen!

That is one awesome costume! Wish I knew who she was cosplaying... it looks an awful lot like Rikku... but I'm not sure I loathe the gameplay in the Final Fantasy games so I don't play them... so I don't know if this is one of her many costume variations.

It's songstress Rikku...

Ahhh.. yes, one of the many, MANY Rikku's available for oggling pleasure at this year's con. With FFX2 out, people were cosplaying them like crazy..

FANTASTIC costume! Basically nailed Songstress Rikku from "Final Fantasy X-2" down to the tee.
