These are all 339 pictures taken by the ACen Guys at Anime Central 2005. This year was very lackluster with the pictures, but there are some gems here and there. As every year, every single picture has a commentary from ACen Guy Brown (Matt) and occasional comments by ACen Guy EricB (Eric), ACen Gal Jill (Jill), ACen Guy Jimjitsu (Jim), ACen Guy Ronin (Joe), ACen Guy Masamune (Chris), ACen Guy Scarecrow (Kevin), and ACen Guy Zeltron (Bob). Our second cosplayer of the year. I of course don't know what she's cosplaying, but she was one of the few cosplayers out at 2 a.m. I like the costume with the air cannon or whatever it is.

This is Kevin (Scarecrow) posing with a Naruto cosplayer! The Naruto guy seems way too energetic and happy to be up at 2 in the morning. It must be those slick ninja powers of his keeping him awake.

This guy's name is Dustin. He was pretty cool, he also had a friend that cosplayed Kiba and they both did really good jobs.

Nice pose. I like the enthusiasm, and he's got a good costume.

I bet this is a rare shot, since you know the escalators and stairs are always packed with cosplayers and people making their way through... pretending that you don't exist and not valuing your life at all as their costumes almost knock you over the side of the railing because they are so huge and... ::ahem:: sorry. Well I'm sure this is a rare picture simply because not a single soul is out on those stairs. A true rarity at ACen. I did think it was a nifty touch to have that Anime Central logo shining up on top there.

"Hello, don't be afraid. I am ACen. Climb the stairs and I will show you the way."

This is a really well composed shot. I think the light logo was a really nice touch for the atmosphere this year.

Thanks Jimmy Sauce. I think it could've been a little more to the left, but I like how it came out anyway.

We all walked around for a little while and decided it was too dead even for us to be out. This is the area outside of the grand ballroom, only one old man was there (he's on the bench). Besides him there was no one but us. We took a picture to show you how weird it truly is, Chris (Masamune) is there looking out at the vast nothing. It was kind of cool to see no one around, it was very easy to move and there was no security there to yell at us!

Seeing the hallway this empty makes me wanna dump in my hand and throw it as far as I can..

This is almost eerie.. soooo empty.. strange...

I also like how this one came out. It's hard to get interesting pictures before the convention actually starts, but I think we did a good job of it this year.

It made me want to watch the tumbleweed untill the clock strikes high noon and then DRAW!

We went back to our respective rooms and worked on our cosplay. While a few of us got finished, the majority of us didn't have our costumes completed until late Saturday.

This is the room where all the magic happens. Cosplay-wise, perv.

This is what we all plan NOT to do next year.. ya know, waste precious, expensive time doing shit we could've done weeks before.

Fun ACen fact! That bottle I'm holding in the far right is a cough syrup bottle that I used to smuggle Jack Daniel's into the hotel. Not that you'll ever prove it, law dog. I was about three quarters in the bag in this picture. I also think this is the first picture of my horribly atrocious haircut. I did it myself the day before and it looked like I had the mange.
