These are all 339 pictures taken by the ACen Guys at Anime Central 2005. This year was very lackluster with the pictures, but there are some gems here and there. As every year, every single picture has a commentary from ACen Guy Brown (Matt) and occasional comments by ACen Guy EricB (Eric), ACen Gal Jill (Jill), ACen Guy Jimjitsu (Jim), ACen Guy Ronin (Joe), ACen Guy Masamune (Chris), ACen Guy Scarecrow (Kevin), and ACen Guy Zeltron (Bob). ...now I can't remember for the life of me who this guy was. But I do believe this was the guy who came out and introduced Anime Central to the audience. This is the first time I actually made it to opening ceremonies. I had been trying to get there on time the last two years, and this was the first time I actually got there. This was the only program at ACen I sat all the way through. They started off introducing the staff of ACen, introducing all of the people who make ACen come together every year...

...then they trotted out the stars! Here are the fucking amazing Pillows, the super Japanese music group that have taken America by storm! They also provide 98% of the music for my favorite anime of all time, Fooly Cooly! I wanted to see their concert more than anything, but when I got to ACen the urge to see them seemed to have passed... I also got sick and blah blah blah. More on that later...

This is the man with the voice I'd love to sex up... Steve Blum. The man behind the voices of Spike from Cowboy Bebop and Roger from Big O.

This guy is awesome. Joe and I went to the Bebop panel with him and Beau Billingsley (Jet), but more on that later.

This is Fred Gallagher, the man who does the online comic Mega Tokyo. The thrill of him has worn off, he was cool to meet the first time but now I'm just kinda used to him. Maybe because I haven't read Mega Tokyo in about a year or maybe because he looks like Steve Blum without the hat. Seriously look at the last picture and this one, it looks like he is taking off his hat. Better yet look at this neat little graphic.
